Animation Assistant Editor & Editor
Avid Media Composer - Premiere Pro CC - DaVinci Resolve - Photoshop
Nice to meet you! I am a Los Angeles-based assistant editor with both technical proficiency and a mind for animation editing. In 2018, I was selected as one of the American Cinema Editors Interns, and since then I have put that training to work. I bring a high level of creative organization to any Post team, while also incorporating my optimistic working atmosphere.
I have 5 years’ experience assisting on Animated Feature Films, TV shows and Documentaries. A proud member of the DVD-Behind-the-Scenes generation, my dream is to bring visual stories to life while detailing the process on a Special Features program. (Whoever edits my interview will have their work cut out for them...)
In 2017, I received a BFA in Film and Television Production at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. There, I screened in the NYU sophomore student film showcase and in 2015 received the Tony Hawkin's award for Best Adaptation in an Audio Drama. My personal films have been featured in multiple Texas film festivals including the South by Southwest Film Festival (Student Division) and the Dallas International Film Festival (Student Division).
I also enjoy composing and play piano and trumpet. I sometimes incorporate my own improvisation as temp music if it can help get a scene off the ground. My scratch dialogue voices are limited, but I play a great nerd, I guess?
